Active Molecules & Action
Multi-Targeted Action Against HBV
HOO-IMM PLUS-B Polyherbal Formulation consists of a number of active molecules of different plant species that act on multiple targets against HBV.
Learn More
Mastic gum and Sesquiterpenoid Glycosides significantly reduces serum HBV (a marker of efficacy) as well as HBeAg (a marker of viral replication) indicating inactivity of the virus and low infectivity.
Elagic Acid & Betulinic Acid improves the level of liver enzymes, protects against liver injury due to HBV, significantly increase the anti-oxidant activity protecting acute hepatotoxicity.
HBV Quantitative – Clinical Studies
Patient dropped Anti-viral drug (TDF)
HBV patients receiving conventional Anti-viral drug (TDF) had to drop the treatment due to poor compliance (developing jaundice within the interval of 15 days and incidence of elevated SGPT & SGOT level) also virological relapse after cessation of Anti-viral drug (TDF) therapy.
After the cessation of Anti-viral drug (TDF) therapy for 21 days, the mean HBV level was 4.7 log IU/ml. With the follow up of HOO-IMM PLUS-B treatment in the first 6 months the mean HBV level was 3.5 log IU/ml and the treatment was continued for 12 months reported Target Not Detected for HBV Quantification.
Drug naïve HBV individual receiving HOO-IMM PLUS-B
The patient never had any medication pertaining to HBV infection, received HOO-IMM PLUS-B therapy; they showed good compliance and virological suppressions right after few weeks of treatment.
The mean HBV level initially found to be 4.5 log IU/ml that has been declined to mean 2.5 log IU/ml in the first 4 months of the treatment, to mean 1.46 log IU/ml in the next 4 months of the treatment followed by Target Not Detected in the 12th month monitoring. Moreover, there is a regulated normal liver enzyme throughout the treatment.
Other ARV's Treatment
Several Anti-Viral drugs are currently available for the treatment of HBV which includes IFN Alpha and other ARVs. Undesirable side effects of interferon and ARVs include fever, malaise, fatigue, depression, hair loss, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, diarrhea, vomiting, rashes and more. Moreover, these treatments are expensive and skipping doses can cause viral load to elevate rapidly.
Learn MorePreventing Viral Induced Carcinoma
The HOO-IMM PLUS-B constitute molecules which has been proven a star key molecule in preventing hepatocellular viral induced Carcinoma. It inhibits proliferation, induces apoptosis, potentiate attenuate ROS. Our unique extraction procedure enhances bioavailability and, along with other herbal extracts, improves gut absorption for better efficacy.
Learn MoreAnti-HBs Restoration
HOO-IMM PLUS-B induces complete cure for HBV by helping the body naturally produce Anti-HBs antibodies against viral exposure. It significantly improves Anti-HBs response which is more detectable through standard tests and helps prevent future HBV infection or relapse.
